Is it harder for a Singaporean working overseas to come back and find a job?

I’m Singaporean working overseas and had been trying to come back to Singapore for my next career. However, I feel it's very challenging to find a job in Singapore... Anyone faced a similar situation before?

For my industry, it is very niche so it is really hard to find jobs in Singapore. I am looking forward to COVID-19 to be over so I can go back to working overseas for better opportunities and career growth.
