It is not too difficult to find a job for young adults who are realistic about salary expectations and show willingness to learn and contribute.

Usually its more of not willing to accept the pay offered than not being able to find a job

I cant comment much without knowing your background. 1-2 years of experience and if you have realistic expectations; doesnt seems to take long to find a job. the issue is little experience but demanding a lot more salary...

Don't think its much of a issue. It really depends on what you want & what the company has to offer. My recent peer took a 2 months break while looking for a job & she got a job not long after she started her break. Though the company told her that her start day would be later, she was glad to secure a job that she didn't expect so fast. I think whats most impt is to keep a open mind about job seeking.
