New investor here. Also bought 4 units of QQQ ETF due to the prospects of the companies.
Just wondering whether it is a correct choice as I am looking for long term investment ( say 5-10 years) hopefully I am not making the wrong choice!

Nothing is absolutely right or wrong. bitcoiners were "wrong" for a few years pre 2020. now they are laughing. value investors "right" for a few yers then now tech outperform even Buffett. wall street calling for bubble burst like for many years since Trump was President. most important is do you have the confidence that these 2 etfs will continue to deliver in the long term. since you are doing RSP, you may not buy at absolute top, but you will also unlikely to buy at absolute bottom.
to borrow the words of David Kuo, yes it is expensive, but compared to what? what else can you find cheap these days? bonds will not give you the yield. even property is at ridiculous prices.
hope this helps.

Personally I'm vested in Hang Seng Tech HKEX 3067 version. The volatility is pretty high for a ETF as theres only 30 companies in there which majority is in the tech industry. Do consider the political volatility that comes with their environment. I believe it will continue to rise to new all time highs in the mid - long term (5-10 years or more).
But in the mean time there is quite a bumpy road ahead. If you believe that fundamentally the underlying companies are sound then sure you can do your own due dillgence and consider investing.
