Is investing in Endowus considered a passive investment?

Will I have to constantly monitor my investment? How much effort will I have to put in to maintain my investment? Can I just lump-sum and leave it?

You can passively invest in Endowus, but please make sure that you have chosen a risk level that you are comfortable with. We do not believe that "monitoring" our investment will necessarily give you better returns, infact many people over manage and end up spending time out of the market rather than being invested.

Endowus may choose fund managers that have a "smart beta" or slight active slant to their investment philosophies, but these are done in a systematic way that is not speculative.

Robos are designed to be passive from a consumer end, so there is not much effort you have to put in, except deposit money inside and watch it grow. Best if you don't monitor it so often to reduce any emotional mistakes if you see your portfolio value drop.

Most people will do DCA every month.

I would say that the effort is minimal, just have to inject the funds into Endowus when you want to ...
