Is HSBC a good bank stock to buy?

I often see discussions on local bank stocks, wondering what does the community think about HSBC with the recent acquisition of AXA?

Nobody could predict the success of a single bank, particularly during modern fintech evolution. dividends are traditionally high, capital appreciation (stock price growth) often low.

Then: what will come out of that merger?

I would not touch it.

take a look also to the unfortunate longterm chart.

this could be unfunny.
