Hi guys! I am considering if I should get the CFP certification. I am unsure if it would be useful. Useful in the sense that I will be able to learn and gain skills that will be helpful in planning for someone's financial.
I would appreciate if any CFP certification holder can shed some light in the usefulness of the modules and if it has help you better plan for your client. Non-CFP holder feel free to share your experiences too! Thank you!!

I am CFA level 3 candidate and I would recommend CFA, it is the most prestigious finance certification. For me, it is very comprehensive knowledge (it is about investment philosophy. Philosophy is very important to filter out ignorance). And at the end of the day, you can be more than just planning for someone’s financial, investment banks values CFA, some even compare CFA with MBA.
They have excellent podcast, blog, and journal too.

It depends on which route you want to pursue. CFP focused in the foundation of financial planning which covers topics such as retirement planning, insurance and risk management, investment planning, tax and estate planning. By the end of the programme, you will be able to craft a full financial plan including the networth and cashflow statement for your client.
