I’ve been noticing more online shops offering BNPL and i'm wondering if splitting a S$300 purchase into 3 or 4 payments actually make budgeting easier, or just make it feel cheaper than it really is?
How do we draw the line between managing cash flow and simply spending more than you can afford?

Splitting S$300 into smaller payments definitely feels less painful, but I’d still ask myself, “Would I buy this if BNPL wasn’t an option?”
