Is a marriage certificate necessary before applying for a BTO?

Hi, my gf and I are still university students and would like to clarify whether a marriage certificate is necessary to apply for a BTO? If no, is there a time limit for us to get marriage certificate if we successfully applied for a BTO?

Nope. You have until 6 months after receiving your keys to provide your marriage certificate. :)

So if it's BTO that's gonna be built in a few years time, you have a lot of time to get married.
