I'm looking for some advice regarding investing in china stocks after the recent melt down. Dint want to go for single stocks but may be a basket to protect. Any suggestions?

Hi, if you just want to get exposure to the general chinese markets, you can look into a china focused mutual fund or ETF. You can start off with an ETF that tracks the MSCI China Index. It is spread out across multiple industries so you are more diversified.
However if you just want to focus on the tech sector which took must of the blow, you can look at either KWEB in New York Stock Exchange or 9067 in Hong Kong Stock Exchange. You will be able to ride along with the huge potential gains in the future. However you have to be mentally prepared for extreme volatility when investing into such a niche sector that is under close supervision by the chinese government.
