Investing in China 🌟 Mutual funds Vs ETF

I understand actively managed funds do not outperform benchmarks often but I heard for emerging markets etc. it's likely they do. I've been considering Schroder ISF China via Endowus Fund Smart OR ETFs such as CQQQ. I'm not the best at analysing mutual funds so do let me know what you think :)

Yes, in an efficient market, tracking the index is great. In emerging market, mutual funds can provide more rebalancing and diversification.

  • Normally for mutual fund, i just go fund supermart to see the performance.

  • The underlying holding of a fund may change abit according to fund manager strategy (refer to fund factsheet). While ETF, usually is market cap weighted.

  • Usually i will just stick to ETF if capital appreciation is my goal, unit trust when cashflow is my goal.

  • For 5 years the schroder fund outperform CQQQ, for 10 years CQQQ outperform the schroder. According to the data. But past performance doesnt represent future performance.
