If you could be the Prime Minister of Singapore for 1 week, what are some things you would strive to change in that position?

I think most policy intents are good but more could be done in terms of communicating these policy intents to the people. This will help reduce misunderstandings and seek more support from the public.

I will reduce income taxes.

Remove GST on basic necessities (柴米油盐酱醋茶) to combat cost of living.
Reduce water conservation tax from 50% to 10%. The water conservation tax of 50% is ridiculous!
Free medical... I know it is wishful thinking....

Review the CECA policy with India. Have more stringent checks on foreign PMET working in SG, such as if their qualifications really fit the requirements or is the company hiring based on connections/cost.
Invest more into education especially our youths, are they learning the in demand skills or are they simply just following the past educational route.
