Hi, i'm 35, i have about 20k in SA account. A friend told me to top up 7k yearly to CPF SA account. I'm just wondering at 55, if reach Basic retirement sum or Full retirement sum, anything above it, i get to withdraw? Correct me if i am wrong.
And also, is there a calculator when i can use to see how much will be in SA account when I reach 55?

The amount that you have topped up with cash in your SA will be reserved for your retirement. So those amount cannot be withdrawn. So depending on the BRS and FRS when you are 55, the amount that can be withdrawn will be adjusted.

Hi Anon,
Update: Assumption made that you have reach FRS before 55.
You will be allowed to withdraw the balance CPF amount after setting aside FRS for the RA account. If you decided to do a propery pledge, then you will be able to withdraw the amount above BRS from the RA account, less the topups and interest from RSTU.

A good tool i found online to estimate your CPF balance at 55. It takes into account of any annual contributions to SA, OA to SA transfer and other inputs if required.
