If one day, we have a drug that makes us live 1000 more years, if we invested in our 40s and compounded until our 850s, how would you spend your money?

And where did those money come from? Must be very taxing for the banks too.

I always think that when you have that much of money, you will know how to spend naturally. But to have more meaningful discussion, if I have that much of money, I would probably setup a dog shelter which I plan to do it when I retire.

Should we spend our ‘extra’ money on the little things that make us happy? I understand that one needs to be frugal and thrifty in order to save up for your target. But savings and investing are never-ending?

Could one use robos as a way to do dividend investing so as to drawdown each year for spending? Say if I invest a lump sum of $500k on robo and would then draw out $25k (5%) yearly for daily expenses. Any advice?

I’m currently invested in US stocks and my goal is to live of dividends 20 years later and let the compound interest take its course but the tax on dividends from us stocks are extremely high like 30%
