If my ex-spouse has sole care and control of the child dies before me, do I automatically get sole care and control?

My ex-spouse has sole care and control of the child. If she dies before me, do i automatically get sole care and control or would her parents (ie maternal grandparents) take sole and control?

As you remain the child's parent, you will automatically be the child's guardian but may have to exercise rights together with any testamentary guardians appointed under your ex-wife's Will.
