There is really little opportunity to drive a manual vehicle in Singapore unless it is specifically for a job. You don't really see a lot of cars with manual transmission anymore.

You can drive an auto car with a Class 3 but not the converse.

That is true...but is that really a strong enough reason to get one? You'll probably spend more money and time practicing for the exam (unless you're really good) as compared to if you opted for a Class 3A license.

To conclude, I don't regret not getting a Class 3 license. Most friends I know who have gotten it have not put it into practice.
