Has anyone here upgraded from a Class 3A License to a Class 3 License? Hoping to get some insights whether is it a wise choice for the upgrade. It's more of "What if" I need to drive manual next time.?

The only reason is car rental overseas.

I used to work overseas and class 3 is useful when the rental company only has manual cars.

But now covid, cannot travel so 3A should be fine.

Manual cars are cheaper in general but hassle in jams.
