I'm investing on IBKR and so far it's good but the USD$10 per month worries me as I only invest maybe sgd$500 per month for the next four years , then afterwards I plan to invest more as my income rises.
I was thinking if I should switch over to SC and invest once every 2-3 months instead.
I'm worried about the worse spread on SC currency conversion and the future long term costs as SC will charge more next time when invest more. Also what are the fees for transferring from SC to IBKR

I would take SC, just my gut feeling.
Since TD Ameritrade started also their 0.00 USD fee (only U.S. equity)
offensive lately for their Singapore branch, I expect the fees generally to drop everywhere.
Your question can be answered by looking at IB and SC fee schedules and comparing aggregate fees (trading fees plus custody fees plus account maintenance fees ...) and your projected investing activity and total assets.
Reduce fees at all cost.
