Hi, I am aware that IBKR charges a monthly activity fee of 10 USD/month if commissions are less than 10 USD and AUM less than 100k USD. But I'm curious to find out whether IBKR also charges a minimum equity balance? From their website, I read that the minimum equity balance is 2000. Failing this, there will be a monthly fee of 20 USD/month, less commissions.
Can anyone who has experience with this tell me whether this is applicable for SG accounts? For reference, I found it at this link: https://www.interactivebrokers.com.sg/en/index....
Thanks!

Hi Anon,
You might want to take a look at the website again. Under individual. With effect from 1st July IBKR has already removed the inactivity fees. There's no minimum balance
