I wanted to DCA to SYFE core balanced. However, when I transferred a lump sum amount into my SYFE account, they invested the lump sum instead of DCA (which was what I indicated). May I know why?

How can I DCA into SYFE? Do I have to transfer $ in every month? Can I transfer a lump sum and put it in the SYFE acc?

Thankss

For DCA into any roboadvisors, it is recommended to setup a recurring monthly bank transfer to the designated portfolio account.

Easier to consider that any transfer to a roboadvisor is an instruction to them to invest that particular amount immediately.

Alternatively, if you want to do a lump sum transfer in Syfe, you could set up a CASH+ account in Syfe and transfer the lump sum to that account. Then from that CASH+ account, do a recurring transfer to the CORE account monthly.
