I want to trade Futures and Philip Capital(POEMS) would be the brokerage. Do I need to open a separate account to trade futures?

I'm from Phillip and I will point out that a POEMS account will not allow you to trade futures. POEMS is under the purview of Phillip Securities Pte Ltd which is a different arm of the PhillipCapital Group. You'll want to open a Phillip Futures account, which is under the Phillip Futures Pte Ltd.
