There are few countries that have already said they will allow companies to work from home indefinitely. But I personally don't think something like this will ever work in Singapore.

I will still be working from home from 2 June 2020 until there is a statement from the govt that we can start working from the office. I personally would prefer to work in my office because I can have physical interaction with my colleagues, which is important for me.
Working from home indefinitely is actually a firm decision rather than a country decision - even though a govt can shape the way how businesses are conducted. I will not be surprise if there are tech firms out there who allow people to work from home forever.

Yes I'm still working from home, as per co.'s directive.
I like it because it's own time - own target - and we still get things done. It goes to show employers that being at home doesn't mean slacking off.
However knowing most employers like mine, they'd prefer face time because punctuality is usually a KPI (not sure about you but mine is).
If you have a healthy office culture, then we will miss interaction with colleagues and the sharing of knowledge.
If it's a toxic work environment, then WFH is probably like god-send to avoid people. Haha.
