I'm planning to convert my mobile plan to a SIM-only plan in a couple of weeks time. Considering between GRID Mobile and GIGA, any experiences to share?

I ported over from Starhub to Giga! Since both use the same mobile network infrastructure, i think the speed should be similar.

Signup process was really quick, switched from M1 to GridMobile and number was transferred instantly. Did not experience any downtime so far. Signal strength is also very strong in tunnels. They are using Singtel's infrastructure too.
