I'm new to stock investing. Could someone explain the differences between trading on SGX vs other stock exchange markets?

I'm looking at Dairy Farm shares and was confused why there is a difference in stock price in the following:

DairyFarm (D01) of USD3.46
Dairy Farm Intl (DFIHY) of USD17.51

DFIHY is listed on US OTC market as an ADR, with 1 ADR representing 5 Dairy Farm shares. Here is an Investopedia article on ADR:

Singaporean should invest in D01 listed on SGX.
