I’m getting paid 4k (5k if I were to add in bonuses) currently and I’ve had 6 years of experience in the media industry. I feel I’m slightly underpaid, is it possible to ask for 6k in my next job?

Any tips? I really want the position and I don’t want it to seem like I’m asking for too much as well.

If you can, with supporting evidence, illustrate the reasons why you think you're underpaid, i believe your next employer will be willing to pay you 6k (on the premise that you are even deserving of a 6k salary)

and if you are having doubts to whether or not you deserve a 6k salary, chances are you won't get that kind of remuneration.

If you can support with results of your past work, this refers to any significant project experience and prove how you've handled complex situations well then I see no reason why not.
