Prices are currently at similar levels to 2006; but that alone doesn't qualify the properties as good investments. Sentosa properties are all leasehold, for starters, so do keep an eye on lease decay issues.
Also, rental and gains on Sentosa are heavily dependent on the influx of foreigners - they're what pushes prices up in this area, as Sentosa Cove is the one place foreigners can buy landed homes. However, with the ABSD currently at 20 per cent for foreigners and Covid-19 raging, this would be a very optimistic expectation.
By coincidence, we're working on an article about this for this very week, so do fillow us on Stacked Homes!
