As Syfe does not have any fee per transaction and charges the fee as a percentage of your investment amount, the transaction cost is more or less the same. Do note that there is a lag between the deposit and actual purchase of the stocks.
The opportunity cost will be time in the market then. Then again if you are investing for the long term, it may not matter that much. It depends on your comfort level and available funds.
I am assuming you are comparing something like this $100/month vs $300/quarter and not $100/month vs $100/quarter.
