I have been hearing some news that a recession is coming soon. Should I wait out the recession then invest?

Wouldn't it be good to know exactly when it'll happen?

Sadly we can't predict it'll happen. A recession has been 'due' since 2016. If you didn't invest then, you would have missed out on the crazy growth since Trump took over.

So we shouldn't time the market. Just stay invested. And buy more when markets go down.

Time in the market rather than timing the market.
