I have approx $7300, looking to buy into tech stocks in US - is it a good time now, or is recession going to hit soon so I should invest in defensive industries?

My opinion is to invest in companies that have constant growth over the years. With $7,300, you may want to consider investing in 10 different stocks with each stocks having 10% of $7,300.
