According to the agent, the fees for iFast are about 1-3% pa. It is relatively high and so wondering if it's worth it to pay for someone to manage it? Or should I just stick to Syfe/Stashaway?

Be careful.. some agent shall ask you to buy endowment or insurance link policy..
Best is to save the money into the fixed deposit..
Wait for a crisis. Use the money to buy us s & p index at a low level or sti etf...
I am sure it can guarantee you more than anything..
