I am so frustrated! Every single time when i buy an ETF/stock, it just drops. I am not buying those high risk stocks or speculative investments, they are stable but yet this happens! Is it just me?

Just take it as you are buying at a lower price than the future.

No worries,

especially for REIT ETFs,

price drop, buy, properties in SG hard to loose money and will give you at least 4% dividends yearly...

Hmmm it depends on what ETF you buy yeah. recently I saw a summary of the ETF YTD many are negatives... just like Stocks, ETF is not guaranteed. so need to know exactly what you are buying in and for.

I'm a newbie in stocks investment. I'm 31 yrs old and have 30k, interested in ST eng as i see that it drop from 4.4 to 3.3. Is it a good time to buy?

I'm halfway thru uni and doing part-time during summer break. since i don't need to pay for any insurances/bills yet, do you think it's a good start to invest slowly? E.g. buying etfs every 3 months?

I'm a 24 year old uni grad with a stable full-time job and a high risk appetite. Is it advisable for me to redeem my Singapore Savings Bonds and invest the sum in individual stocks/robos instead?

Do you think it is wise to buy stocks after ex dividend date? Would buying stocks after dividend date for blue chips stock good for long term investment since price drop after that?

1st time investment with capital $10k, with OCBC bluechip investment per month ($500) & considering stocks investment. What's the difference if buy bluechip via OCBC Securities as a stock?
