I am buying CSPX. How do I read the pricing for IBKR? Is fixed or tiered better?

  • For fixed pricing, do I read from UK table, "LSE International Order Book and USD-denominated stocks"? So it will be min $5, USD 0.05% of trade value? Any other costs such as GST, stamp duty etc?
  • For tiered pricing, I didn't see "Monthly Trade Value (GBP)". As CSPX in USD, I'm pretty confused I will pay commission in GBP? Any other costs as well?

Hi, did you managed to get to the bottom of this? I'm also figuring this out.

Hi Anon,

In general, tiered pricing is cheaper.

Your understanding on pricing for fixed pricing is correct.

For USD denominated products in the EU, commission is paid in USD. If I'm not wrong, it's 1.70 USD for tiered pricing.
