I am a 37 yo married with a kid. Would like to hear some suggestions/ feedback on my overall asset portfolio & how I can improve it?

Breakdown is net of debt/ loan & insurance is shown as current SV:-

  1. Cash/Deposits - $130k
  2. CPF (OA/SA) - $160k
  3. Insurance (ILP/WL/SP) - $140k
  4. SG Equities/Reits/Bonds - $165k
  5. US Equities/ ETFs - $40k
  6. Robo Advisors - $15k (DCA mthly)
  7. Property - $140k
  8. Cryptos - $1.5k

Net worth approx $790k

You seem to be doing well.

If I were you though, I would likely just hold on to 6-12 months of emergency savings, and invest the rest.

You might also wanna consider between Growth investing and Dividend investing as both are different forms of wealth accumulation. If I am you, I rather go for Growth Investing since I am still young.

Firstly i would like to say that your portfolio seems healthy to me.

But what i would do will be:

  1. Re-look at your SG Equities/Reits/Bonds - $165k. I would diversify it more.

  2. Your cash/deposit - $130k. Do you really need to keep that much cash on hand?
