I am 65 this year with existing medical conditions. The insurer will cover my existing conditions and death at 100K SA for a 25K Premium annually. Can I get the community's opinion?

I don't think it is worth it and not sure if I should accept the risk myself.

Technically it only protects you for the next 4 years which doesn't really makes sense to me..

Hi anon,

The risk is probably till the point where your premiums paid are greater than the payout.

That's over the next 4 years.

After that, it doesn't make sense.

So, the question is, from now till 69, if something happens, do you have $100K set aside?

Personally I don't know your full financial situation but it doesn't seem attractive to me.
