What would be the difference between HSBC revolution and UOB ppv? Also which would be better in terms of Miles and daily usage? Or perhaps other recommended credit card?

Hi Anon,
I think the main difference comes from whitelist (HSBC) vs black list (UOB). So technically, the UOB PPV has more merchants to earn 4 mpd. For the most part, I'd say they're both equally good for earning miles for daily use, but there are some plus points for each.
HSBC Revolution has no annual fee and comes with a complimentary Entertainer app, albeit with not as many deals as the regular Entertainer. There are also often sign up rewards you can get for signing up for this card.
Miles can be pooled across different UOB cards, so the miles earned from PPV can be collated together with PriviMiles (if you use it) before transferring to Krisflyer.
These 2 cards are probably the best cards to earn miles with because of the wide range of categories to earn 4 mpd, so you won't go wrong with either one.
Other cards you can consider to earn 4 mpd include Citi Rewards and DBS woman's world, but note that those are only for more specific categories of spending.
Hope this helps & all the best!
Regards,
