Hello. Was wondering for the promotion under HSBC website (spending $500) how will the cashback be given? will it reflect back to the credit card or via paynow?
β
And also how do I pay the credit card bill if i do not have an account under HSBC. Currently only have Standard chartered account.

I suppose you're referring to the sign-up promotion right? Here's what is stated in the T&C's (https://www.hsbc.com.sg/content/dam/hsbc/sg/doc...)
β
"The cashback can only be used to offset future retail purchases and cannot be transferred, withdrawn as cash or used to offset payments such as fund transfers, tax payments, financial charges, late charges, fees and other outstanding balances."

On your 2nd question of paying off your CC bill, you can download the GIRO form from HSBC website and use another bank account to settle the CC bill. Fill it up and pass it to the branch / mail it. Here's the link to the form https://www.hsbc.com.sg/content/dam/hsbc/sg/doc...
