Assuming you don't need the $100k for at least 5 years...

3 baskets - Equities (60%) for capital appreciation, Bonds/REITs (25%) for sanity, BTC/ETH (15%) for excitement (may lose all!).

Split the funds into 3 tranches for each basket, and invest when opportunities arose over the next 12 months.

1) Decide on how long you are going to invest this sun of money in

2) What's the goal of this investment (housing, vacation, retirement etc)

3) How much risk can you take ?

Depending on the factors, diversify in ETF / REITS or even individual stocks.

Reits/ etf? So that u can get div returns yrly of abt 5%... but do note of price flux.... if not Allianz : now price is low... ave div returns of abt 7-8%

Assuming this 100k is investable money that I will not touch for at least 5 years,

  1. Take 50k and buy 3 of my best conviction companies.
  2. Take 25k and sell puts options on the 3 companies or other companies that I wish to own at a lower price. If option is assigned, I will proceed to sell covered call to continue to earn premium or a chance to sell at a higher price
  3. Remaining 25k for DCA

WARNING: Options are high risk trading instrument. YOU CAN LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY. Do not test it out until you know exactly how it works.

Sell covered calls on SPY and QQQ, stock pick certain stocks. Or if you want a hassle free way to in...
