How to start with a tech career with no tech background

Im currently working FT at a company that is non tech related.

should I take up PT diploma or sign up for courses. In order to get in a company its advisable if I get some cert right.

currently I'm self learning coding with python but would learn better attending classes.

any advice or link to courses would be appreciated!

thank you.

Best to ask companies what they want

I'm not sure if it makes sense, but you might also wanna try sounding out a couple of companies with their entry level roles to see if getting those certs would help you get a position - this will give you some insights as to whether you will need those certs or if there's a better avenue to enter this industry. That said, do not apply for companies that you hope to get into for this "trial" in case they reject or shelf you for future opportunities.
