How to sell in DBS Vickers if you bought a stock using "Cash" and not "Cash Upfront"?

1) If I were to buy a stock at 0900hrs using "Cash", can I sell at 0915hrs?

2) And if I were to sell, do I need to tick "Contra" or untick?? Appreciate your answer

Hi Anon,

This question has been asked before.

Refer to https://seedly.sg/questions/what-is-the-differe...

Basically, if you already have confirmation that your buy order is filled (i.e. you own the shares) but the settlement only happends T+2/3 days later, you can do contra sell to settle only the difference (either gain/loss).

If contra is not ticked, then the settlement of buy and sell will happen and reflected separately on your order/sell invoice i believe. (Im not too sure on this).
