How should you answer questions like are there any upcoming interviews or job offers by hiring manager?

So far, after being asked if I have other upcoming interviews, the hiring managers will try to expedite the interview process so that we can conclude the job interview asap. This is so that they won't lose a potential candidate to another employer just because their interview process was slower.

As for other job offers, it actually signals to your hiring managers that you are of value to these other companies. This is especially so if the companies are very well-known in the industry. It again encourages them to expedite the current process so that they can quickly decide whether they want to offer you or not.
