How should I grow my wealth?

I’ve just graduated from NTU, 25M. Have around 700K of liquid cash. I runs an online business but I often find myself suck at investing. Always buy the wrong counter. How can I get someone to grow my wealth for me? Is DBS treasures good? I’m planning to buy a condo in 2 years time

Your online business sounds lucarative with 700k liquid cash. More people needs to be business owners.

Congrats for having such amount of cash at young age! you may consider e following: (i) invest in ETF (S&P 500 (CSPX, VOO, etc) or Nasdaq (QQQJ/ QQQM, etc); (ii) invest in US stock that has long-term potential (not for short term trading); (iii) allocate some small % (eg 5 %) into top 10 crypto depends on your risk appetite; (iv) invest some in Singapore REITS for dividends. All the best in your investment journey!

For condo information, feel free to send me a message as well =)

Congratulations on your online business! I'm guess that's what helps you build yor liquid cash. I always like to look at finance holistically (I'm not an insurance agent btw).

1 - Build up Emergecy Cash of 3-6 Months expanses. You've definitely got that down! Just put it aside and keep it liquid. I suggest keeping some in a savings account, and the rest in a money management fund to earn a little interest.

2 - Wealth Protection - Yes, insurance is important (That's my belief). You can get relatively cheap term insurance, and also have hospitalisation to cover any emergencies. Personally, I avoid any agent that tries to sell my Investment Linked Products (ILPs).

3 - Wealth Accumulation - The rest would depend on your time horizon and risk appetite. If you don't want to do stock picking, you can consider doing a Regular Savings Plan (RSP) into an index fund. Dollar cost average it into the long term. Seedly has a post with some options, I recall seeing before. You can explore between the different brokers.

4 - Condo Purchase - Do consider your plans to buy a condo in 2 years and make sure you have enough money for it. Consider how much of a home loan you wanna take as well. Remember that while home loans are lower interest, over long term and because of the large amount, the interest does add up quite abit.

Good luck, have fun!
