Hi there,
Unfortunately GPA and honors, while good for your CV, its usually applicable to civil sectors only. It will affect your starting salary, as well as your career progression. Internally, its called CEP (Current Estimated Potential), it uses your academics as well as your performance to map your career.
Focus on the grades, not for the honors, but for the knowledge. Apply it by taking up internships to show your worth. Thats the only way to fully utilise your education.

Tbh.... hearing from my seniors from healthcare industry, your GPA doesn’t matter much but your class of honours affect your pay by a few hundreds! :/
