How much does aircon installation service cost (excluding the aircon prices)?

I bought a resale 3-room flat with very old aircons, so need to remove them and install new ones. I'm seeing huge price differences from various supplier websites that range from $150/aircon to $1200/aircon?

Major retailers often price in their installation and offer better quality materials with economy of scale. There may be ad-hoc charges such as additional trip for running pipes during your renovation period before installing the indoor units. If your resale unit doesn't come with aircon ledge, there may be addtional charge for bracket installation. Removal of existing unit may come as a FOC service.

Aircon is probably the biggest outlay and long term investment you can make for your new home. The usage probably warrants spending a few hundred more for peace of mind and having someone to call if problems arise.
