Not gonna lie, I used to pride myself as someone who won't order food delivery. Go down dabao can save money. But recently, exploring Grab Food and especially the TEATIME promo, makes me feel like I'm just paying for the food 😂 and wah shiok eh just click a few buttons, no need leave the house. And I realised I spent $45.30 (includes the food) on food delivery 3 times this month as compared to my usual 0. How much do ya'll spend on food and the delivery monthly?
Side note: Remember to treat delivery riders kindly and respectfully! They brave the heat and rain for us to remain in the comfort and safety of our homes.

Personally I rarely ordered from food delivery as foods are so easily available. My fridge has many frozen and easy to prepare products. Anyway, I am running some food retail businesses (with some clients ) and have access to many types of frozen products especially meat free products from Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.

Have never made food delivery until this COVID-19 outbreak. Home has elderly and weekdays delivery only (not daily affairs)... Average monthly damage around $450 excluding bread which could amount up to another $150. Absurd, right! That shows how much these food delivery platforms have pumped up the pricing to earn their commissions.

I think 3 times a month is pretty thrifty already! It is a good tea time treat once in a while, making use of the promo

I ordered but usually with self pick up promo as it's cheaper than just buying. Family buy thus $300...

Rarely order food delivery cause I rather just go downstairs and order takeaway if I'm really lazy to prepare food at home. I think I've only opted for food delivery when there's some really special promos and I'm sharing.
But I can totally understand the appeal. Go for it especially if your earning power is high (ie. time saved is worth more)
