How much do you spend monthly on food, transport, bills and other necessities? Exclude homeloan/rental, wants and allowances.

Just started working and always find it torn between spending and saving money. I do enjoy going to cafes and wish to spend money without thinking much. But at the same time, I wish to save more money when I’m young.

Spend Roughly $400-500 on expenses, it's ok to take it slow(not splurge) and do what you enjoy as it will also help your mental health and happiness in the long run. just try to enjoy in moderation and focus more on investing for the future

After you have family, expense increase, time reduce. You may not have time to earn more, and if you have trouble saving now, wait till you have kids thus you need to grow starting from now.
