Hi
ā
Generally it depends on where you work and /or WFH arrangement. $10-$20 per meal would be a good gauge.
For transport, if it's public transport, it should be <$10 for 2ways. If it's taxi/Grab, it can varies depending on the time and distance. ($20-$40 per trip or even more).
ā
My 2c opinion.

I WFH so I don't need to spend on transport lol. Food wise, I eat both to save money and lose weight. I skipped dinner. My food expense for a day is within 10 sgd.

Honestly, on weekdays I usually spend around $15 to $20 on food. Some days I pack lunch, other days I just cave and grab something while Iām out. Transportās another $5 to $10 depending on if I take the bus or drive. So yeah, Iām looking at about $20 to $30 a day, kind of sneaks up on you by the end of the week.

Iāve been trying to be a bit smarter about it lately. Not in a ācoupon-clippingā way, but if I know Iām heading somewhere specific, Iāll see if thereās any discount floating around. Like, I found this Cora Breakfast and Lunch page with some deals: https://savingsays.ca/store/cora-breakfast-and-....

Not a huge thing, but hey, if Iām already eating there, might as well save a few bucks.
