How much CPF should someone realistically have by 30 and is comparing against the average actually helpful?

Do you compare your CPF balance against the average, or focus more on whether you’re on track for your own goals?

Curious what people think is a realistic amount by 30.

There’s no magic focus more on whether you’re on track for your own goals than comparing with the average.

No, comparing the average is not particularly helpful. You cannot touch other people's money. It only gives and encourages bragging rights.

You cannot stop contributing, unless you stop work. Nor can you miraculously increase it to 'catch up'.

So the point is only to make CPF work for you. Realistically, the more the better, isnt it?
