No, comparing the average is not particularly helpful. You cannot touch other people's money. It only gives and encourages bragging rights.
You cannot stop contributing, unless you stop work. Nor can you miraculously increase it to 'catch up'.
So the point is only to make CPF work for you. Realistically, the more the better, isnt it?
