There are couple of questions on how much allowance we give our parents. But what about our spouse? Do you consider giving your spouse allowance if she is still working? Or will you only give if she is not working?

Err...both of us are working. There is once upon a time that she is not working, I didnt give allowance but she stop contributing to our joint account and she has free access to withdraw money from the joint account.

Both my spouse and I are working and fully capable to take care of ourselves, so it will be weird if either of us gave each other an 'allowance'. But if my spouse is not working, I'll probably be the one paying for the meals etc but definitely not give an 'allowance' for them to spend. We do not and will not live off of each other haha.
