How many different investment products are too many?

Realised recently that my portfolio was getting a bit “too diversified” 😂

Between ETFs, individual stocks, SRS investments, CPF and a few other products, I sometimes wonder if I’m actually diversified or just making my own life more complicated...

How many different investments do you think is enough?

For me, if I can’t easily explain what each investment is doing in my portfolio, I probably have too many already

I think once you’re adding products that don’t really serve a different purpose, it’s probably more complexity than diversification
