Hi, if you have good credit rating I guess no harm to try apply both at the same time. Else if you are more keen for one of the card, apply for that and wait for it to be approved first. So in the worst case, your 2nd card got rejected and you just wait out for few more months before re-applying again.

For comparison sake, I recently obtained 2 credit cards from 2 different banks within a period of 3 months.

Many many years back I got rejected once, while I have a large pending payment (Study loan). So if you have any big pending payment, you might want to make payment to those cards first before you proceed with your credit card applications.
