Will I get rejected for submitting 2½ month of payslips for my credit card application? Will it affect my next credit card application by 'applying too frequently'?

Just got my first $2,500 paying job and I need to make a big ticket purchase ($300+).

I have only worked for my company for 2+ months so my payslip only has 2 full months showing $2,500 gross and half a month because I only started then. My previous job paid less than $2,500 so I will not meet the $30,000 annual income requirement.

Will my credit card application get rejected if I apply with my 2 + partial month payslip and will it affect my next credit card application for cards that only ask for the latest month payslip?

Maybe just try applying for a card (maybe first with a bank which you already have a good banking (eg savings) relationship with) with your latest payslip and build up your credit bureau history from there.

Just try! I think back when I started work I applied for a StanChart credit card and didn't get approved but my Citibank card got approved. also applied around 3 months into work. you can always appeal if you get rejected and get a letter from your company stating how long you have worked and your current monthly salary.
